Art Education In Action

The Association of Art Educators, a registered student organization at the University of Arkansas, in partnership with Fenix Arts is creating an exhibition titled “Art Education In Action” that will showcase various perspectives on what it means to be an artist educator.

The focus of this show will be to bring local teaching artists, art educators, and art education students together and present work that reflects their teaching practices, personal artwork, and the relationships they find between teaching and their creative art practices.

The exhibition will open Thursday, March 10th, 2022 at Fenix Arts at Mount Sequoyah Center in Fayetteville, AR, and run through April 2nd, 2022. There will be an opening event in the evening of March 10th with artist educators, and a virtual presentation streaming to both remote and  in-person audience at Fenix Arts by Nick Kozak on Monday March 14th, at 5pm  (no registration required).
