Fenix Arts has hosted a variety of multi-discipline art experiences in the past and has more plans for future events. We host small concerts, dance performances, poetry slams, puppet shows, and live theater. We are actively searching out Arts Partners to activate our gallery space as a performance venue. If you would like to host an arts event in the gallery, please reach out via email and let us know your needs. We’d love to collaborate on your project!

A Sense of Place – Fenix Artists Exhibition

April 7- May 28

A sense of place refers to the emotive bonds and attachments people develop or experience in particular locations and environments, at scales running from the home to the nation.
Sense of Place is also used to describe the distinctiveness or unique character of particular localities and regions.

Perhaps Sense of Place also encompasses “ sense of self”, how an individual’s feeling of identity, uniqueness and self-direction in the world define our Sense of Place… what is our place in the world, macro or microcosm?? Do we have a place at the table? And what do we bring to this place?

June 2 – July 30, 2022

The focus of this exhibition will be to give voice to LGBTQIA+ artists from the mid-south area for a two-month long juried exhibition featuring visual art, music, poetry and performance in celebration of this vibrant and creative community.

The exhibition will open June 2, 2022 at Fenix Arts at Mt Sequoyah Center in Fayetteville, AR and at Gallery 212 in neighboring Springdale, AR and run through July 30, 2022.
